My new shottie from Questar. Just arrived on Friday. I put a box through it this weekend. I love it.

Very, very nice! I handled one of these puppies last fall @ a gun show. If felt awseome, pointed very nice for me, and the surefire is über cool. :D Evil! Pure evil! ;)
 
I see the word shottie used to describe a shotgun more and more. I don't understand how that word came about.

Shottie sounds more like doilies or panties than a gun.....

Why would anyone refer to a macho shotgun as this one is, as a "shottie".... instead of a shotgun or gun? :D

Am I just old?

Shottie sounds very stupid and has a hint of "Teenage gangbanger"

hard enough to take a mallninja seriously without them using words like "shottie" :p

I had an M-4 collapsible before and didn't like it. Too high so you have to use optics or red-dot. Less surface area on the butt. I sold it and bought a SpeedFeedIII (the one with pistol grip and shell holder) Much better! :)

PS Anyone know if the buttstock is available from Remington by itself as offered on their new version of this?

OOps...Almost called them " REMMY"......but that wouldn't have been Macho enough!

I did not say anything about SOUNDING macho...

I said shottie sounds more like doilies or panties than a gun.....

and I think Remmy does too.....

I guess it could be compared to baby talk some people do with babies......:D
