New Sig STX 1911

I picked up a new Sig Sauer STX 1911 2 weeks ago and have had some fun with it at the range. Ran 100 shells through it with no problems whatsoever. Since I bought it i have been busy as I made 3 sets of grips for it.
The set on the gun is Tiger Wood dyed green with a CA finish.
Bottom left of course are the factoy grips.
Middle is Purple Heart Wood (just Tung oil not polished yet).
Right side is Tiger Wood (just Tung oil not polished yet).

My Favorite is the Green set. Hope to get out again this weekend to rip through some more brass :D.

That emerald green is very bold and attractive at the same time.

Love the non rail dust cover.

Yes. So far I am liking this pistol. I have had no issues with it at all. Took it home gave it a quick clean and then it was out to the range. I guess the only problem was my thumb got sore loading the mags after 2 boxes of ammo:shotgun:
I will have to get toughened up.

Keep you mags loaded at home it will loosen up the spring
