New Six Gun....well new to me

Been pondering a .22 Revolver, and was offered a deal on a near pristine 1966 Ruger Single Six Convertible, so I brought it home. Single action revolvers are pretty cool,especially when you have the option of all the .22 cartridges....you can do just about anything with this shootin' iron......Billy the Kid must have died 20 times in my closet mirror last evening. Haven't purchased a holster for it yet....but you can bet it's gonna have a steer head tooled into it

Nice. I like the slower pace of shooting and reloading single actions. My favorite Rugers are the older ones without the transfer bar because of the way the chambers are indexed properly when you are loading and unloading.

Nice score! I recently picked up a Bearcat and as Can-down mentioned....it's nice to slow down the pace sometimes and you gotta love the "clicking" sound of the cylinder!
