So i just bought myself a Russian Refurb SKS and i am wondering what steps in terms of cleaning i need to take before using it.....it is still covered in packing grease......should i disassemble and soak the parts in solvent to remove the grease and then oil as usual?.....what is the best way to remove the grease?

I used carb-medic to clean the grease off of mine. To get the grease off the wood I washed the stock in hot water with mild dish soap. After it was gun oil as usual.
