New SKS folding stock

I have been after Tapco to produce a folding stock for over a year now. They are too busy with trying to just keep up production & fill backorders to take any new projects on.
Mr Black is very resourcefull & creative to come up something different & functional.

The adapter I have made for the stock will fit any T6 Tapco stock It was just finding the rite stock that would work with it and http://Hical.ca let me look at A bunch of stocks he had sitting around and one works great thanks again

Next will be makeing the CZ858 folder fit just need to get my hands on one any one have one they dont need?
 
cz stock

heres my cz folder on my sks tapco stock .
i had to make an piece to fix the folder to the tapco i also cut lots of the tapco stock to make it work , i think it looks great also has the bolt mod and duckbill less mag mod.

Good job what's the over all length now with the stock cut down and how did you attach it to the stock thanks
 
i milled into a 1/2 piece of steel 4 countersunk holes and one tapped hole in center for the mounting bolt on the cz stock (i replaced the stock cz bolt to one i had a tap for). i then drilled and tapped the tapco plastic which was stronger then i thought plastic could be , then bolted the piece of 1/2inch steel that i drilled to to the stock with 4 allen head bolts they went about an inch into the plastic . i do have a very basic mill that helped put the holes and slot for the tab on the rear of the cz folder as well as relief for the sling mount on the cz folder

it could have all been done with a file and drill press though.
it was easy to make

if interested i can get another pic of the mount with folder off but it may be a day or so befor i could post it

folded oal is 31 3/4
