Sorry guys...probably seen sooo many of those posts lol.....just got my new SKS...could not decide on stock...so I got both of them ;)

Love the looks and feel of those rifles...can't wait to take them out to the range ( just got them few hours ago )

Dealer told me those are non refurbished ones ....what could I learn from those markings ?

only the red laminated look non-refurb the other is an early 1950 with the 1949 cover latch, welcome in the sks fan club ,
don't like them too much because now you have 2 and at the end of the year you will be at 10 sks , they multiply really fast :)
 
Nice acquisitions! Great all-around guns.. Whether it's for blasting lots of rds on the cheap at the range, grocery-shopping in the forest or in case zombies and their cousins come knockin' :cool:
