I got a case of Czech surplus at Elwood Epps. Thanks to the tips on this site, opening the can, with the help of a monster screwdriver to lever the rings from the solder, was not difficult.
While at Epps, I investigated an ATI stock. It was a lovely thing, but the spike bayonet would have to go. I think the bayonet is an essential part of the character of the gun.
Still, the stock is too short and low.
So, I'll fire off a few zillion rounds this week and go from there.
Oh, yeah, and I'll have a spray of diluted ammonia at the range with me. Usually, no one is close enough to be bother by the stink. I hope.
Or, how about just Windex?? Comments?
