This one belonged to a 3P shooter from Quebec. Acquired it about 5yrs ago.
They are still available from the Remington custom shop. Mine was considerably less than their prices. They periodically come available through the Civilian Marksmanship Program in the US. If you have colleagues down there, they may keep an eye out for you. There are several for sale on Benchrest Central also.

Caster...
The locking lugs are half way along the bolt. They are just visible at the rear of the receiver opening. Makes for a very smooth bolt operation.
This one also has a Canjar light pull trigger - about 2.5 oz on the set or it can be used in the conventional manner at about 1.5lb.

That's affirmative - s/s in the caption. 40x repeaters I have seen have all been sporters with light barrels. They still shoot very well. The heavies
seem to shoot all on their own.

ahh, I thought s/s referred to stainless steel, not single shot. whoops!
