The Sydenham Sportsmen Association is pleased to announce the opening of its brand new 10 station Hunters Clays course.

We are located near Owen Sound, Ontario and have invested in new promatic machines for all stations, and laid out a new course on our property.

Grand Opening is Saturday September 10th at 10 am.

For more information sign up for the sporting clays email list by sending an email to sydenhamsportingclays@gmail.com

Or send me a PM

Thanks

Great news ! I didn't know there was another Sydenham in Ontario. I will be sending in to get on that mail list !

New sporting clays course

I'd heard that this was in the works. Best of luck and when I'm in the area I'll be sure to drop in.

Claybuster...... Consider the gauntlet thrown down.
Once they get up and running...... After Sept 15 when I am done moving... You are challenged to a round of sporting clays.
I will be kind enough to pick you up for the drive up if need be... My treat ( and no escape for you).
At risk... Bragging rights, and lunch.

Accept the challenge if you feel able or courageous.

All others welcome I am sure.

Cheers
Missed you yesterday

I think my response may be biased, however the feedback on our new course has been great.

Jeff

Has any one been up?
Any reports :) ?
I shot the course on its opening day in the rain and enjoyed myself.

It is is thoughtfully laid out a course that will bring new shooters into the sport but give the experienced a challenge or two. Ten stations with targets that are hittable but not unreasonable or so easy that it's just "skeet in the woods." It's nice to see a club that isn't determined to embarrass new shooters with 50 yard crossing targets or short-window screamers that even Master class shooters struggle with.

The shooting grounds are wooded, very picturesque and the club is very friendly.
