hi wondering if someone could help me i have a brno zkk600 in 30 06 I purchased the rifle brand new at lever arms in vancouver in 1985 the 85 is also stamped on the reciever which likley means the year it was made because i remember the sales fellow told me they had just got them in stock. Anyway i love the rifle shot a few deer and works good my only problem is the stock i have sanded and oiled and since then 10 years the stock is ready for another sanding i walk in the bush and fall and bump the gun I no longer go into heavy bushi would love to install a new fancy wood turkish walnut or similar stock and im looking for a stock that would just drop in the rifle . If i had to do a few small sanding to fit all right but not looking for a stock blank .Does the new cz rifles stock fit my zkk 600 or does anyone know where i could purchase a stock ? thanks for your help harry

ZKK's are great rifles however they're a production gun and fit and finish is not great. You would be best to have the current stock restored. New pad, grip cap, ebony tip, reshape the cheekpiece with a shadowline, rechecker if necessary, pillar and bed. The BRNO stock had a dyed tip and cap and a poorly shaped factory stock however a restoration will greatly improve the rifle appearance and value.
A Custom stock will have to be turned from a pattern. A CZ will not fit without reinletting. If you're talking "Turkish" walnut you are looking a big $'s.

I got a Richards stock for a new CZ 452 American. Just wanted to add a personal touch and have a project. I found that there was a lot of inletting to do as the way it came was pretty rough. They did call it 95% rather than drop in however so that's fair and I didn't mind the effort. I got a nice piece of wood out of their 50% bargain selection but I didn't think it was quite up to their description as far as figure was concerned. About 1 grade lower I'd estimate.
