I ordered a Bell & Carlson medalist short action BDL, 8 weeks later it showed up

shoots just as good in the new stock too, most loads will print 3/4" or a bit less with handloads :D the stock is very nice and strong

He's got the "bling"!
Can't remember, is that 243 a stainless SPS? Looks good. Just finishing an SPS stainless in a Bansner myself.

bolted in with no bedding other than the aluminum block that it sits on. This spring I will probably have Bullcoon skim bed it, he is the stock master! ;) even though he cringes everytime I buy a new rifle :p

Interested in hearing which bansner you are using.I put a wide barrel channeled one on a 700 BDL last year. Was there alot of pinhole prep work before painting?I am considering taking an SPS stainless and putting it in bansner's sheep hunter.
Nice stock Tod BTW.RB

Standard right hand with floorplate. There was a bunch of prep work, no doubt. Bedded it and filled in the barrel channel but still floated the tube.
Used a 25-06 SPS stainless, comes out at right about 7lb 8oz with vxll 3x9 in Talley LW and a 1" decelerator.
Sorry to hijack the thread Mr Bartel!

I ordered it through http://www.rifle-accuracy.com/ and it took 8 weeks from date or order for it to arrive to me. They were very good and easy to deal with

the rifle shot pretty good yesterday, best group was .68" for 3 shots with 60 gr Sierra hollowpoints. 58 gr Vmax & 87 gr Vmax werent much worse :)

How did you get around the $100 max import/export whatever law of ordering gun parts from the States?

There's not much to "get around"
If the Exporter does there bit the paperwork isn't that much of an issue;)
