New stock for my remington 788 LH

Hey all,

I have a Remington 788 in 308 and was wondering if there is a stock that would drop fit or close to it from either aftermarket or another rifle?

It has the ugly hardwood stock with no woodgrain to dress it up

I know early 788 had nice wood stocks then they changed over too bass wood?

Fajen used to make a nice 788 stock. So did Brown precision, and MPI. Now days, maybe Boyds. Ramline sold a cheap synthetic, I had one for one of my 788's, they were alright. - dan
