A while back there was a thread for another retailer here when they got in Chrome 1911. People were pretty happy with them. It's not actual chrome tho, something called chromium or actualomething. I forget. I had a 1911 two tone with their chrome finish on it and it wasn't shinny or reflective. Pretty tough tho

It's like bead blast finish, but that chrome or chromium alloy will shine up if you polish it.

Really? I heard that the finish of the metal prior to treatment is what results in the finish
