Ok folks... here it is, Rooster33's newest work of art. the extended Sig rail for the SwissArms target rifles and carbines. The holes in the top are treaded for ARMS #35 rings to attach directly should you fell the need to get really low. As you can see it is a inch or so longer than the his old rail which will make the mounting of long eye relief scopes possible out in front of the rear sight but low enough that the clip on cheek rest will not be needed. Or you can still mount high and use it but be able to use the long eye relief scopes like the Leupold LR/T without crowding it. I'll post more picks once I have mine on my rifle with the Leupold Mk4 3.5-10x40 LR/T.

This is his older one... no holes in top and ends at the leading edge of the receiver.

Just talked to Rooster agian to double check. It extends 1.5" over the handguard. The holes are for ARMS #35 rings not Stanag. The handguard is not removeable so you will have to work a little harder to clean the gas system. The Price is $150. Contact Rooster33 on the board here by PM to buy one.

Sorry about the triple post wasn't sure which thread was still active. Many thanks for checking. Shame about the handguard, still looks like a great deal.

cheers.

I have a Black Special on the way and plan to mount a scope. Forgive my ignorance but how does that mount attach to the reciever? Is it like an AR180B setup? Drilled and Tapped?.. NEVER MIND, I SAW THE ANSWER ON ANOTHER POST ON THIS TOPIC..

I've just picked up some 70gr Barnes Triple shock bullets to work up a load for the sig. I'm moving to Vancouver so what the hell, it could be fun for those blacktail and it is legal in BC.

I wish you could hunt with these

Me too...despite a couple living in the safe, ammunition smaller than .23 is illegal to use on big game here in Alberta. That being said, fair game for coyotes though!
