New Tactical Tailor Chest Rig for my CZ W/Pics

Not the greatest pic, but sort of lets you see whats going on here. Ordered the TT MAV with 3 TT AK mag pouches. Im out at the ranch so i haven't had the chance to see how the CZ mags fit but im sure they're fine (2 per pouch). The quality is excellent on the MAV and the pouches, they have a rubberized sort of lining and everything is double and triple stitched. Everything in Ranger green. Going to order the MAV Bib to accompany the Chest rig, it sits on top for more molle attachments and a chest piece (multitool, pistol mags etc). Also have an emdom pouch on the way and the TT roll up dump bag. Also waiting on my mystery ranch Grizzly in foliage but that's a different story altogether. Im doing all my kit in solid colors could've easily gone the multicam way and im well aware of its abilities but i like the solid colors, so foliage and ranger greens it is.

Ive had various chest rigs, my last being the HSGI denali, if you are familiar with that set up you know it is gigantic and ridiculous. I wanted to keep it k.i.s.s so im going with something like this now. Medical pouch on one side of the mag pouches, another pouch on the other side, the extra bib attachment and its golden.

God help me this thing wont let me "insert an image" with the little icon up top there, so im just gona post a link. should be easier.

Looks good. Are they double mag pouches? I've found that some doubles sized for AK mags can be tight with VZ mags. I have to run "bullets up" in my OSOE micro rig.

Is there velcro on the closures too, or just the fastex buckles?
 
There's Velcro, but it has the fold over so that you can silence it which is how ill run it unless maybe I'm on a long trek. Double mag pouches and honestly from the looks of em they'll fit easy. What would be the benefits or disadvantages of running bullets up/down? The buckles are extremely heavy duty you can see the type on the picture, they are built tough. Gona run it higher up on the chest so i can wear my pack with it. this is the summer of gear haha my eyes and ears are open and i really feel like i want what i need right meow.
 
IMO bullets up or down is pretty much a personal preference thing. But like I said, some pouches won't fit two VZ mags bullets down. The rim around the top makes them too thick for a tight fitting double pouch.

You can see how tight they fit in this rig. I have to put the front ones in last and take them out first, otherwise the rims catch.

You should have come up and worn it at our 3 gun match on the Saturday and got some honest dirt in it.:)

thats an expensive effin couch hahaha and i plan to run 3 gun if i can get in where i fit in... Im going to start running drills this summer with the cz. Thats the plan with the simplicity, I've had other chest rigs and they're way too big. Bib attaches on the top buckles and adds about 7 inches of molle on the top of the rig, which will come in handy, and like i said 2 pouches on either side of the mag pouches and im good. Dump pouch off the belt and im go for training. Keep it high so i can wear it with the highly anticipated Mystery Ranch Grizzly that should be coming soon.

p.s did i mention this tactical tailor gear is built like a tank? gota put some miles on it :D
