New take on Pump action rifles, Kreighoff Semprio

Sooooo how many positions does that switch have ? Lol. I don't doubt the quality but that 9 position safety button or switch doesn't appeal to me.

Just two, and a push forward in either one means either fire or unlock, it’s actually a simpler arrangement than a Remington 7600. To the right is the slide release, a separate switch on a Remington, center is safe, and center forward is #### to fire which is only required first shot, and allows extremely safe uncocked carry with a chambered round. The Krieghoff probably has less moving parts than a Remington too, folks just go a bit cross eyed at changes from tradition.

Certainly looks cool but I wonder how it would hold up to dirt and grime with the parts so much more exposed as opposed to the ejection port on a conventional pump action gun?

Its only exposed part is the non-moving bolt with the action is closed / beating bush. It only opens when cycling, probably would fare better than a Marlin.

It's very cool... my biggest concern would be muscle memory. I've been using pump shotguns my entire life... not sure if I could get used the the reverse pump. Under pressure with one shot off at the biggest elk/moose/deer/whatever, forget about it.

The whole "Safe to carry position" part is... Interesting?... Nah, its just odd to me. You like half-open the action and then lock it, or something like that? Honestly I feel like I'm missing something...
