I just got my first centerfire rifle. It's a tikka t3 lite in 270win. I put a Conquest 3-9x50 on it. Did I make a mistake putting the basic leupold std tikka base and rings?

Anyhow, I haven't fired it yet, but I just had to adjust the trigger to it's minimum setting and I can't believe how awesome this trigger feels. It's 95% like the Savage F-Class rifle I fired once...:dancingbanana: It's definitely a HAIR trigger.

I can't believe it's this good. Do Sako's have as good/better triggers? It's hard to imagine it. Do any other manufactueres make triggers this good on their hunting rifle line?

I bought the tikka because of how everyone praises it's accuracy, but I haven't read much about people praising it's trigger. If it's accuracy is anywhere near as good as it's trigger...I think I might just have a good shooter on my hands.

Nice gun! I am thinking of buying a Sako A7 22-250. A local dealer has them on sale for $999.99 for the rifle, scope bases, rings and a burris fullfield II scope mounted with an extra 3 year warranty. The same gun elsewhere would cost me $1500 plus. and that is without the extra 3 year warranty

If it wasn't for that price I was going to get a Tikka T3 lite as well. Nice gun and love the bolts action.

I am pretty sure they do yes. A thing I really liked about the Sako is that you can work the action with the safety on.

Nice rifle! It's got the best factory trigger in my stable. I got the rifle before I got online, so I didn't get the opportunity for the computer to tell me I had garbage rings. Sssssh, don't tell the deer. Or the targets at the range. Mine even likes Winchester grey box from CT. Now if someone would make an affordable magazine for it...

So you going to put a stainless scope on it or a black one? I think the stainless would look excellent. I love the stock.

Looking at the pic you posted, that looks like a Savage rifle with the accu-trigger, not a Tikka T3. Maybe you meant to post a Tikka T3 in the laminate stainless model. I have two T3's in the LS models-both in 270WSm - one with a Leupold VX III matte scope, the other with the same scope but in silver.

I LOVE my SAKOS m75 and the Tikka T3 rifles I have. Silky smooth actions. Yours will be a good shooter for sure. I personally prefer the Sako/Tikka Optilocks for the scope mounts, but yuor Leupolds will work.

Where is this Sako A7 deal? PM me the details please:dancingbanana::D. I have a friend looking for a new rifle, and maybe I'd pick one up too.

The name of the dealer is the gun dealer in McAdam NB. You can call but I don't think they have any left. Got to watch their monthly specials. 3 just from me and a couple of friends.
