New TIKKA T1X 22 LH Coming now glass decision

They said about a year, hopefully tikka will run them sooner. So I have time to look for optics. Was looking through a couple other threads and the diamond back tactical is getting quite a few likes. I like the price range, but would spend more. Need to be able to shoot the 250 yd at range and see where I hit, and down to like 10 yds for small game. What are some other options you 22lr people are using. And rings what do you like for 22.
I’ve never set up a good 22lr rig, have a 455 lux in right hand, but rest of family says leave it with the open sights. And my aging eyes are getting harder to use open sites. The thread with 1/2” groups kinda intrigued me. I know I can still keep looking at what you have said before but had to tell about my new purchase.

I’ll be grabbing one as soon as the LH models are available. It’ll get a SWFA SS 10x42 Mil/Mil mounted on it. Look out gophers... ;)

there will be no sights on the t1x out of the box as did mine ...i had great fun with a 6-24 power scope and moved on to peep sights and globe front did a long test on ammo as well no need to buy the farm so far as a scope goes as long as there is good light ...10 yds and 100 yds need 2 different scopes let me know if i can relate some info good luck

not sure on the 16, i ordered the 20, lgs offered a 455 lux in lh the other day, over the phone. I didn't know CZ even offered that in a LH, but it was going to be 1000.00, a bit steep so I went with the tikka
 
I would like to look through the new 5-25 strike eagle scope. Looks like a nice step up from the Diamondback. I have a Nikon tactical on mine for now.
 
Well that long wait is over, t1x lh 22lr just came in. Topped it with a vortex Diamondback tactical 4-16. Have to wait for weekend to try it out. Just before the new rules as well, makes me happy.

I have the same scope on a 17 HMR. It is a fantastic scope but it will not focus to less than 40 yards. Since you said 10 yards as a minimum distance, I think you would be disappointed with a Bushnell LRHS. Some of the Sightron SIII models or the S Tac might be more useful to you.
