Hey guys/gals, I am new to 3-gun/ action shooting and am looking for an optic. This is a hobby and I am not going to go pro anytime soon. I doubt I will be shooting past 200 m anytime soon. I am torn between a 1x4 ish illuminated scope or RDS and magnifier for my AR. I don't want to blow the bank (sub $500) as funds are tight enough, but I don't want to buy twice.
As for RDS I am leaning towards an older eotech or bushnell trs25.
1x4 I am looking at the bushnell AR Optics with illuminated reticle.
