New to ARs... just a couple of questions.

Hi all!

On a whim I bought an AR from Wolverine Supplies... an Armalite M15A4 Carbine...

I don't know a lot about ARs but the price was right and hey... what the hell... more guns = better.

I am currently waiting on the BC CFO to transfer it to me, not my first restricted transfer but they are really trying my patience.

Anyhow... I was hoping to lay my hands on a larue railed hand guard but I just cant find one up here... can anyone recommend a free floating railed hand guard that will fit this rifle i can source from a Canadian retailer?

From what I understand i need a 7" hand guard because the front sight will be an issue with anything beyond that.

Questiosn #2 is: the muzzle break on these are supposed to be permanent but i seem to recall reading that it can in fact be removed... anyone care to comment?

If it's a standard A2 front sight post with the round plastic hand guards, then you'll probably want to get the Daniel Defence EZ Car 7.0 hand guards. They are free floated and with mount directly into the existing delta ring. No gunsmithing or tools required. These can be had at Wolverine or One Shot... There are a few others, just can,t remember off hand.

For the muzzle break/flash hider, it can indeed be removed and replaced with anything cool you find.
