New to CGN have a few questions

Good Morning everyone,

I must say this is an amazing site so far to get information for someone who is new to the sport. Lots of great information

I live in the bancroft area and just picked up my first .22lr ruger 10/22 as many have advised. Looks great looking to shoot it.

Does anyone know a safe place to do some target shooting? plinking i think they call it? I realize this is probably have people throwing in comments about going to a range but right now the cost of joining a range is not in the cards for at least another 2 months.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
