Good-day all,

I am a new member to the Edmonton Area; just moved here from Oromocto NB (more commonly known as Gagetown). I am somewhat new to hunting; got in to quite a bit last year with my brother. Had a lot of fun duck hunting this past fall. Now I am here in Edmonton, and I would like to keep up the fun; I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors.

I'd suggest joining up with the local Alberta Fish and Game Association chapter as well as checking out the Alberta Outdoorsmen website and introducing yourself there. There are a fair number of Alberta CGNers here that hunt so you'll be getting more suggestions.

Also, check out the "Hunting in Alberta" website for information to familiarize yourself with the Alberta Hunting scene.

Yep... gopher season is coming. A few of us are headed out to Viking as soon as the snow is cleared and the ground is dry enough to keep from sinking.
 
welcome man, got lots of hunting opportunities around here. lots of crown land and lots of whitetails. good duck and goose pops that fly through not to far from edmonton. you looking for gophers? heads out and start knocking on doors by lamont and tofield:dancingbanana:
