I live to bow hunt but enjoy any type of hunting. New to IDPA and my 20 year old auto ordnance .45 has seen better days. Looking for a Taurus, Sig or Beretta, either in 9mm or 40 Smith and Wesson. Any suggestions on which is better to hand load and use for IDPA?

Welcome. Out of those three choices I would pick the Sig in .40

When I tried IDPA I was using a Glock... no safety to worry about.
