Hey all, I've just bought myself a g22 RTF2. I haven't gotten the chance to use it yet but I've been firing a g22 gen 4 and love it, so I got myself a gen 3 RTF2. Ive been looking at getting a lone wolf 9-40 barrel for it, as well as a AA LE 17/22 .22lr conversion kit for it. The only place I can seem to get the AA kit is on the lone wolf site "lone wolf dist" . Com. Has anyone ever bought anything from them? I don't even know if the price is in USD or CAD. With shipping its $360, think the kit is worth the money?

Thanks
Trevor

Tough call, been wanting to get one for my g22 as well. Hard to justify $360 for me though, everytime I'm about to buy one I just buy another handgun. From what I've read the glock 22 mags fit 13 9mm rounds I believe and function quite well, so there's that little bonus too. Cheers

Add: if it will be your only handgun for a while you'll probably save that $360 in ammo in the first year or two. And I'd hold off buying 9mm mags until you see if the .40's function well.

I'm running 9mm conversion barrel in mine and using my .40 mags....no probs so far..although I don't overload them...

To (sort of) answer your question, .22 cal conversion kits can be useful if you're interested in shooting your specific gun more often. That's what I wanted and I picked up a Tac-Sol conversion for my Glock. It shoots well and hasn't given me any problems with high velocity ammo.

If you're just looking to shoot any gun more often and you're comfortable using a different platform then a dedicated .22 like a Ruger mk III, Browning Buckmark or S&W M41 would be your best bet.

You can order parts from lonewolf and they will ship direct to you. They have instructions on their website on how to fill out canadian orders. Unfortunately the .22lr conversion kit has a slide, barrel, and magazine which prohibits lonewolf from exporting. Therefore you need to use a company like questar or irunguns to import the kit for you.
