New to hunting, need suggestions on Zone 9 West (Quebec)

Hello all,

I am new in hunting sport and I am getting my hunting licence in the middle of December and planing to go for small game in Zone 9 West. I am planning to go in Mille-Isles area close to Route 329 (we gonna get chalet for Cristmass there). There is a plan to go hunting for small game. I would like to ask your suggestions on where it is better to go in that area (East of Wentworth area, close to Route 329 and Mille-Isles). I am going to use .22 there. I know that it may be alot of snow and I have to be ready for that too ;) Is there some Crown Land around that area ? Maybe you may give me some ideas to think about before go hunting ? It will be my first time hunting :)

hey Vlad, I live in Morin-Heights, and know quite a few people who live in Mille-Isle. Most of that area is private land, so If you know anyone ask them if you could hunt their land. Other wise the only crown land I know in that area is near Lac Gustave which is actually in Wentworth, only you must enter from the Mille-Isle side.

I'm try to find a decent map so I can show you where the area is...Ill Pm you If I find one.
