Just bought a CZ Shadow in order to participate in IPSC competitions (Production Division). Now I need the rest of the gear. Are there any shops in Canada (prefer B.C.) that would sell something like a starter kit?

Reliable Gun and Tackle sell CR belts, holsters and mag pouches, plus some Ghost stuff too. Nice thing is being able to go in, and try stuff on.

direct from crspeed ;), they have a kit
free shipping on orders over 99USD (they say USD, but they actually convert to south african rand, which is a pretty nice factor with our dollar, what you see is basicly the price you will pay in canadian dollars. Last time I ordered, IIRC I was quoted 208$US and they charged me 211$CAN)

@charles.emond

I took a look at that deal and it is a good one, but I am somewhat nationalistic and like to keep my money as close to my community as I can. That being so, buying outside of Canada is something I don't like to do.

well i always recommend that people buy from Canadian dealers, otherwise when we go to put on our shoots and are looking for prizes we won't have anyone to support us.

You'll need:

- belt; -- CR Speed or Double Alpha will do for ~$65
- mag putches x4-5; -- I'd recommend investing into CR Speed Versa ~$40-45 each
- holster -- BladeTech DOH -- ~$70-75

I'd recommend buying belt 1 size larger if it's CR Speed.
That will get you where good competitive equipment is and you won't need to waste money on upgrades later; will last you years...

polish and walther: definitely agree with you, but sometimes you can't afford both good and local. When I'll be at a comfortable level of wealth, which is definitely not the case right now, I might look into more local, but til then I always go with the cheapest
