New to IPSC Shotgun

Hello,

New to the forums here and beginning the IPSC shotgun process. I have been doing some research and it certainly would prove that learning to double and then quad load is eventually the best way to bring the time down. However, what is the best way to start? Should I start with double loading right out of the gate and then transitioning to quad, or is there a more beginner method I should adopt first?

Any advise is welcome
 
Just curious who is running IPSC shotgun competitions in Ontario. Is there some where I can find a schedule? I just stumbled across some videos of practical shotgun matches (from Europe) and seem to have fallen down a rabbit hole. It looks like a lot of fun.
