Hi Guys,
Back on cgn after a long stint away, and i have a new toy.
I bought a norinco m14, and I am wondering what the most sensible and useful upgrades and mods are. Any tips would be great, thanks!

If you are not putting a scope on it make sure the sights are working correctly and check to make sure the front sight is not leaning to the side . Or for the rear sight get a set of Garand rear sights . Get a op rod spring guide ... NEA sells them as well as other companies make and sell them..Read all the stickies and relevant posts a couple times and you will figure it out.
Check if the op rod guide moves alot from side to side as this will misalign the op rod if its too bad .
Try and attend one of Hungry,s (East) or the M-14 Docs clinics (West) as they are a great help to the M-14 community .
I found a that federal blue box powershock in 150 grain work pretty good ...but you should consider reloading as its not a cheap caliber.
