New to me ex 12.6

Got a Jennings J-22 last week from a fellow CGN'r. I know some would say its "bubba'd" because of the barrell extension, but im very happy with it, id never have a chance to own this firearm without the "addition". I took it to the range for the first time and i gotta say its a BLAST to shoot. I tried a couple different types of ammo, but really enjoyed the cci mini mags. I had quite a few FTF and FTE, im hoping its a mag issue. It only came with one magazine and it seems pretty wore out. I just got two new mags in the mail from Triple K, so i will try them tomorrow.

If i cant have a prohib the way its meant to be with the proper barrel length i dont want it.

To me putting a barrel like that on a gun like that is like pissing on a Picasso.

Well it is different. Being south of the border (It really messes with a Texan to say that) the Canadian Handgun classifications drive me batty. (I suppose they do the same to you folks for other reasons.) The 12.6 is a Prohibited handgun unless it was in the system before a certain date and it can only be sold to people who had a license for them before that date?

Believe me guys, i would rather have it the way it should look, but unless the laws change in good old Canada, ill never be able to own a handgun of this size. I like firearms of all shapes and sizes, i dont own one this small so when i saw it i had to have it. Looking down range i cant see the "addition" to the pistol and it really is a Blast to shoot.

If 12.6 ever gets repealed you can just whack the nose off.
I would start a collection of those things just in anticipation of the day that happens.
If ever, but what the hey, it's still a shooter, and getting used.
