If the CFO's feel that they are ready to bestow their blessing on me, this will be wandering my way soon.

Interweb says it's a 1941 Mauser manufactured unit.
I've been reading 'The Return of the Krieghoff Luger' by Jim Dickson and it's got some pretty cool history and likes / dislikes of the Luger.
He claims 4.1 grains of Red Dot behind a 115 grain bullet for 997 fps or 3.9 grains behind a 124 grain bullet for 1025 fps; winchester standard primers too...are the ticket for an average Luger. Luger's like a "slow burning curve and a slower push resulting in a slower cyclic time to allow proper feeding and reliability" Direct quote from JD there
If anyone out there has anything constructive to add, please chime in.

Thanking the original owner for the pictures by the way; thanks Vince
