Have a few quick questions, hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction? Just purchased a R700 VTR and need to find some glass that will fit both my budget and needs.
1. What is the difference between target knobs and not target knobs? Is this a useful feature to have?
2. I am sure this question gets asked often but does anybody have any recommendations for glass for no more then 300$. I am looking for an option that will allow me to both punch paper and hopefully a deer or two. I know these are two different things, but a solid compromise on both would be good.
3. What sort of reticle should I be looking at? Is one "better" then the other? Will be not shooting greater then 500y for now.
