New to reloading…question on 30-30

I found a PDF copy of the Lyman Reloading 44th, in this book the starting load is 30gr and a max of 32.5gr. Why did they change the load data for IMR4320? This data is alot closer to the other information that I have found.

Well that has to be frustrating! I'm waiting for the same book to arrive and that is one of the rounds I want to reload for. Why would the Lyman book be so far off? If you see several data sets across two or three manuals, how the heck are you supposed to know which one is safe?

How often is they Lyman manual inaccurate?
 
Early in this thread I stated that getting multiple reloading books did nothing but cause confusion to new reloaders. Is the new reloader here confused?
Has this thread just proven my point, or what?
After looking at all these different and widely varrying loads of the same powder, same bullet, all quoted as maximum, I dug out an old chart from my files.
I marked the 30-30 loadings with the little box many years ago, for convenience and also underlined the load I was commonly using. Did I worry about the gun, "Blowing up in my face?" No, because hundereds of thousands of reloaders were safely using these charts for reloading. Thus, my old Winchester Model 94 took all these loads without even a burp and shot very accurately. It is usually considered that the 336 Marlin is a stronger action than the Model 94.

The OP WAS using one manual. If I was doing the same thing as the OP and had the same results, I would assume that I f'd up but clearly it's the manual. Have one, main go to one yes, but if you have results like the OP the and for peace of mind reference another manual and find that it shows a different load, that would shed some lights on why one would be having issues.

That is what I thought, that I f'd up. I ended up reloading 25 rounds, I knew after firing all 25 rounds and they were mostly all the same. I knew that something was wrong, that is when I looked at the data sheet that came with the dies. I also looked at data online.
I will be checking more then 1 place when I change bullet weight or reload something different.

I want to thank everyone that gave some advice.
