I'm happy to have found a great resource like this. Thanks to all who have contributed thus far.
I've been shooting since I was very young as my Father was an avid hunter and outdoors man as was my Mother. I did small bore comp shooting as a junior because I was following Dad around as he did Big Bore mostly though S. Alberta where I grew-up.
I've been out of shooting/hunting for the past 12 years as I've been working on raising my own family amidst the rat race but recently I reclaimed some of my guns from Dad's cabinets including a Ruger 10/22 I was given when I turned 14. Over 20 years ago....
What a fun gun that thing is. I've been looking at making it a better target shooter as I don't intend to use it on hunts. I'm looking for Bentz Chambered Barrels and a new stock to suit etc... Can't wait to get access to the EE Groups for some of that. I've also found out about retailers I can trust via various threads so I'll use them as well.
I'll be joining the Campbell River Gun Club soon and then I'll have unlimited access to good shooting opportunities. Thanks again all.
