New to the sport, new rifle..need somewhere to shoot?

Hey everyone first post! So I live in Toronto got my pal and rpal in the mail a few days ago, got all giddy and ran out bought a rifle .308 r700 and now I'm sort of stuck with where I can go to break it in? Is silverdale my best day pass bet? Any input would be great!
 
Congratulations on your first, and welcome to gunnutz.
I'm without suggestions on where to shoot, being in BC, but these guys will help you out.
 
Yup. Silverdale for non restricteds is a good choice. If you want to shoot restricteds, target sports and their associate member program is a good idea. All depends on how often you plan on shooting every year.

Not to sound like a butthead, but the only thing a non member can do there is shot gun sports without a membership. Everything else requires a membership or you need to know someone that will take you.
 
I live in the Kingston area now but grew up at Jane/Finch.

You could probably go there and pop a few off - nobody would think anything is out of the ordinary :p
