I didn't know if it is worth stepping up to a 3 1/2" super mag or stick with a 3" I have been looking at the 1187 super mag, they seem to handle very well since I am used to the 1100's. I would be taking it goose hunting too
u dont ``need`` a 3.5" shell to kill anything....although if u do have the capablities pattern some shells against a 3 inch and see which one works best
My favorite turkey load for 12ga is 7/8oz of #6 shot in a 2 3/4" shell with enough 700x to get it to 1325fps. Need no more
