Thanks Guys. Sixty9, I was wondering how your ap shoots? Any tricks to know? I was really impressed with the rifle myself. It has the weight and feel of a real AR. It field strips like the real McKoy by removing a pin the upper and lower receiver swing open allowing bolt removal and chamber cleaning. This one was dirty as hell when I got it, but it is almost new with very few dings and bright bore. I don't think the previous owner ever opened it up! Hopefully I've lined up a mag for it now as we could just shoot one at a time to see if it worked before. I'll let you know how it shoots when the mag arrives.A member had asked about caliber yes it is a 22 cal but it is a restricted rifle none the less (evil looking little brother?)I think there is a 32 cal version out there if you can find one
Thanks for the replies. Pete

Mine shoots well, and I believe you got her from 72mustang.
I guess you got it from him cuz I did, and mine was dirty as Hell as well.
Good gun for the price, something different from the rest!

Well of all the 22's I own including a target 10/22 my AP74 shoots the best, But I never shoot it anymore because it's restricted:mad:

Thanks for the reply. I can't wait to get all the pieces together and get it up to the range. I have a 1022 as well so it will be interesting to see the difference in performance. No plinking in the woods though. I've got a 25 round mag for the 1022 and only a 15 round mag on the AP. Almost the same length but a whole different class. Goofy laws.Yeah, somethings will never make sense!!!!
