didn't want silver rings and bases?
Actually it came with the black base and i had seen another guys centerfire with the black rings on a stainless gun and thought it looked sharp so i went with it, plus i already had a brand new set of rings laying around the shop so...
Got out to the range and was impressed so far,i did not take my camera or keep any targets but my 10 year old son kept one of his at 50yds with rem 525 golden bullet value pack and here it is

Hmmm, I like the action/barrel. Not so sure about the stock.

What's it like to shoot? IE the trigger etc?
Also where did you get it?

I have the same stock on my 10/22, but in Brown. It's a Boyd's Evolution stock. THe aesthetics might not be for everyone, but functionally, it's soooo nice to shoot with. I added a swivel stud on the forend for the Harris bipod on mine.

Nice rifle...tell your son he's a heck of a good shot.

Well the stock is nice and comfortable to shoot but i will be adding a Volquartsen Target Hammer in the near future for sure. i ordered it from SIR (Cabelas CANADA) along with a pink camo 597 for the little lady!!!

Oh i see, i also like the look of the black bases and rings over the silver scope. Makes it stand out a little better. All in all i like your rig!

Looks very nice. I'm thinking about getting one. Do a head to head comparison with my Ruger K10/22T :D. I really like the looks of the barrel/receiver.

I guess I'll start checking around for one. :D

They had the yellow stocked and blued version at the local gun store. So I tried it out. I see what you guys mean about the stock. It's pretty handy and fit me well. It seemed to be a decent .22 semi.

I'm having trouble finding the TVP on any websites here in Canada. SIR doesn't have it listed. While I don't really "need" another .22. I think I might give one a try :D.

How's the accuracy with good target ammo?
Also any problems with the rifle so far?

So far no problems only, one FTF and that was just the cheep ammo. I have only got out to shoot it the once and it got dark in a hurry so i ran out of time to go through more types of ammo:redface: SIR did not have it on their website when i ordered it as well but do list it in their Cabelas CANADA catalog, if you give them a call I'm sure they will hook you up (and i just got the flyer from there today and the 30rd mags are on sale:dancingbanana:).You could also try EPP's i know they had them listed when i was shopping around.
