New toy

Never got lucky on the EE so I went to Wholesale and bought it new.
1895 Guide gun in stainless 45-70 and 2 boxes of Hornady Lever evolution.
I am looking forward to taking this baby out for a test ride this weekend.

Beauty! <insert green eyed monster here > one question, I'll assume that that is either a 450 Marlin, or 45-70, but I was always under the assumption that pointed bullets in a tube magazine where a no-no? I have been away for a while, so forgive me if this is some sort of specially cushion tip for tube mags.
