Looking for a recco on a first time buyers rifle? Been looking mostly at the GSG 16 and Ruger 10/22 - but open to other suggestions?

Welcome. New here myself but I'd go with a 10/22. Just picked mine up mid August. Super easy to teardown and clean and change parts out as needed. Ammos cheap as well. Upgrades and accessories are almost endless. I swapped my chassis, mag release, auto bolt release, sight rail within 15min of getting it all home lol.
