New V3 Has Arrived!

So,

I am proud to say I am the owner of a new V3, 26" wood semi. I have been waiting for this particular model for 5 months now...and it was worth the wait.

Picked it up a couple of hours ago, and now just sitting back and admiring it. It came well oiled, magazine plug, 3 chokes, choke tool and assorted pamphlets, stickers and owners manual. Fit and finish seems to be top notch, with nothing being out of sorts yet. I don't have a scale, but it "feels" light and is quick and easy to shoulder. Butt feels solid, forearm has that laminate sound to it. Both pieces are well checkered for positive grip...but shooting with gloves will be the real test. Safety has a definite off/on with no hesitation going either way.

Unless it's a blizzard, or downpour on Sun, I am hoping to get out and run some clays with it, with a new Wingmaster for comparison.

Pound the shells through it and report back .l like the look of the gun and most reviews have been good .

I love mine. I have the synthetic model. I got it in August. Just this last weekend alone it got about 150 shots through it.

One thing of note, pick up an 8mm wrench to clean the gas tubes. You will also need a hammer to break the tubes free. I ended up getting a 28 piece wrench set and the 8mm was the best fit. The brush to clean those tubes is a .40 cal brush.

Already took it apart using a 3/8" wrench. Wiped everything down and now it's another waiting game. And Rembolt, I intend to give it a proper "break in"

I have been eyeing this up as cheaper versa max for 3-gun. Does anyone know if the magazine extensions for a versa max will fit this (since they are very similar) .
