The msrp markup on vortex is really high. Most shops will give you a significant discoint. My local store is waiting for some and will be discounting them in person. They just can't advertise the discounts.

At $169 it was a great buy at $199 even if it was a mistake this dealer is not a go to dealer
I can see one dealer who runs killer deals on ammo to be doing that shortly.

Seems to be norm...when you get people keep telling the vendor this is a killer deal at this price....they jack it up....happened to M&P Sports 2 initially too.
