Has anybody compared the new and old mini's side by side?
I have read somewhere that the new mini had a slightly heavier barrel (I'm not talking about the new target model just the regular ranch model)? I know they re-tooled and tighten up the specs.

If true, does anybody have any measurements?

I had a mini years ago and I liked it, but I didn’t like the accuracy.

I'm not looking for sub-MOA, but if the new mini gets a true 2 MOA or under I may have to get one.
 
Check out Gun Blast. I beleive he has done a couple articles, with very positive results.
 
I've had several of the older Mini's as well as one of the newer ones. The barrel thickness seemed identical, although I didn't put a mike to it. Accuracy was improved on the newer model, and 2MOA was attainable with several of the factory loads that I tried. Still a fun gun, but I sold it to get an AR180B and don't regret the move at all.
