Hmm, I wonder how much velocity will be gained in the 257 Wby.
Those with Cronos should be able to provide real data eventually.

I can't find where it mentions a 26" barrel on some of the vanguards..???

.I like the new safari vanguard in 375h&h with the open sights....They must be doing well with there new 6.5 to offer it in the vanguard.

Ive run the same load out of a vangaurd and Mark V using RL22 and 100gr TSXs. It made a difference of 75fps.
The Vanguard was louder.

I have one of the new 375s, and the sights came dead on and the trigger two stage trigger breaks clean at three pounds. Shoots everything I have put through it into less than five inches at 300m meters!

I wish weatherby would turn some attention to a better synthetic stock option or maybe shaving some weight in other areas.The only complaint i have with the ones i own is weight. It's not a deal breaker and i will still buy them but it would be nice if they were a half pound lighter.
These rifles are quite popular so maybe we'll start seeing more aftermarket support for them in the future.
