What's up guys!

I made a youtube video to help out with wind calls during PRS style matches. It also applies to any long range shooting. I'll put the link up here in case you guys want to check it out.

Enjoy!

Vod19, that was a fantastic video with lots of really good nuggets of info

I would suggest you spend more time with mirage... make this your friend as it will tell you much more about the wind. Being able to see it is an optics 'issue' and some scopes don't pick it up as well.

Look forward to your next video.

Hey Jerry,

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't want to go too much into details on the wind reading aspect, especially since it can be gear dependant (optics). The goal of the video was more to talk about bracketing and to show that you don't need the most precise wind call to be successful.

You have done a great job as an opening video. I would encourage you to keep adding more detail that can help with field judgement of wind. Too much energy is being wasted looking at LCD screens vs at what is going on downrange.

Binos or a spotting scope looking at wind indicators, mirage and patterns will improve scores far more then any ballistics app or spinning a kestrel.

Good luck with your next video...

Jerry
