Hey guys,

I'm currently in the process of restoring a Johnson M1941 rifle, however the walnut stock is in very rough shape with what looks like a spliced in portion of 2x4 (not walnut).

Are there any places in Canada that do stock reproductions or that would be able to clone the existing stock I have? I've been able to find a few places, albeit reviews seem to be non-existent for them or more than a few years old.

Numrich has the fore-end part in stock, I don't know if that's the part you need or not. The main stock unfortunately is out of stock, no pun intended.

Yeah, I need the main stock which seems to be an issue finding or even finding someone who can reproduce it.

I had a couple of 41's and buttstocks were hard to find 40 years ago they would be hard to duplicate
Very complex design and fitting would take time

12 months ago I had an original pair for sale on this EE, along with other stocks. Took them to several shows. There was zero interest here in Canada.

Not exactly what you asked for but a guy in Texas seems to make repro stocks for the M1941.

Supposedly a picture of his work (forestock is original, also he sends them raw and unfinished so it would be up to you to apply RLO):
