I picked up my new XCR-L earlier today, and i'm hoping to hear from those of you who already own an XCR-L.

So, here's my questions

Have you encountered any problems with your rifle?
Which sight would you recommend for it?

Thanks for the feedback!

Upload pics of your XCR rifles!

Check the stickie FAQ on the top of the page, it is kind of long read, but it has a lot of info, as for what sights to buy, look down a few thread there is a XCR photo thread that have been going for a few weeks now, it will give you a few ideas what people are using. take a look at other threads about sight and scope for AR or other rifles, if they are the same caliber the scope or sight recommendations will work just as well on an XCR.

Hey Beardy, welcome to the awesome.
My XCR is fairly new too, at just under 12000 rounds.
No major problems yet, but I'll let you know after she's broke in. ;)

My personal preference for glass is 1-4. I like 1x for close up, and 4x for out to 600 yards.

Check out the XCR picture thread.

Good luck, and enjoy.
Paul

another BC xcr owner! welcome to the club! X2 to what others have said. the only issue I have with my xcr L is that I dont have as much time as I would like to shoot it LOL
I put a nikon p223 4X optic on mine and its perfect for close and mid range targets. I wack my 12" steel gong at 200 yards all day long and thats fine by me

Congrats!

Proud new owner myself!
Picked mine up end of August have just under 1000 rounds through it now. I've got a burris mtac 1-4x with a red dot on top (Package deal one). Pretty happy overall with the sight.
Only issue I had was the nut on the gas block was a little loose at first. tightened that up and no other issues, besides of course like everyone, else not getting near enough time behind it shooting things.

Yep you should check the barrel screw and the grub screw that secures the gas block to the barrel. I found mine came loose after the first 200 rounds. I blue locktited the barrel screw
