Welcome everyone.
I am posting the New York Precision PRS 1-Day Regional Match Schedule if any one is interested.
These matches are held in Olean, New York, about 2.0 hours South from the Peace Bridge in Southern Ontario.
I recommend crossing at the Queenston–Lewiston boarder crossing heading into the USA, as the Boarder Officers are more familiar with competition shooters crossing. I've never had a problem returning back through the Peace Bridge.
All you need to cross is a Match Invitation, Valid 6NIA.
New York State Police require a locked hard case for rifle transport, personal experience.
I recommend getting a BSF407 (Y38) form from the Canadian Boarder for your firearms and electronics before heading across. Makes coming back easier.
There are many placed around Olean to stay the night and great places to eat.
My personal favourite is the Beef n' Barrel.
These matches are out to 600yards, and held at the Olean Rod and Gun Club, 2023 Wayman Branch Rd, Olean, NY 14760
The matches are run by Marc Diana, he puts on a good match and lunch is provided.
