HI all -
I just had to post about this. This model was mfd in 1931 and Discontinued in 1934. They did NOT have Serial Numbers back then for this brand AFAIK; and it does NOT have a 'letter suffix' like A or B, just the number. There's a good bit of info on these on RFC. I'm here in Eastern Canada where these 22LR are Very Rare, mostly only Stevens Shotguns around here. I've had WTB adverts on several forums for over 2-years and finally someone had one they wanted to sell. Only 200 miles away! HA!
This is the model of rifle I learned to shoot with, over 60 years ago.
When the owner shipped it to me, it arrived under 22-hours later, via Canada Post !! I got it apart and washed the stock with Dawn, and a white cloth came off totally Brown! I've cleaned the action and the bore and hope to get out tomorrow, supposed to be ca 30C (85-90F) but LOW Wind, under 5mph.
Anyway, on to the pics -> a few more will follow someday . . .

Update - I was able to get the rifle cleaned up well but I noticed it had no Safety. I thought it was a variant that I was unaware of but it turns out the assembly is necessary for safe operation. I tried shooting it and had 3x ADs when I closed the bolt. Twice it worked OK, but it's retired until I find the 4-parts of the Safety system. If anyone has some loose parts I'd be glad to purchase them, but for a 90+ year old 'budget rifle' I'm not hopeful.
Anyway, the 2-shots that were functional were quite accurate for iron sights. This model is not D&T nor has a tang-peep so it's 'stripped for action'. I may have to channel my 'inner-bubba' to get this functional. LOL
TIA
So, Would someone who has one (or the parts) please take some measurements of those parts OR advise me where I can find the specs ? The most critical would be the Safety Lever itself, so I can get the 'release' and channel for the plunger in a proper relationship. It just doesn't seem to be something I can 'guess and file' to get running right. The parts are Not avail at any dealers I can find on the inet so I'm going the DIY route I guess.
Thanks again for any advice.
PS - an inet pic of the safety, it's the 'half-moon' Lever at the back of the receiver, and moves to curve under and block the trigger. The other parts mount on the trigger and connect to that Lever.

Thanks Lodi. Yes there is Now only the 'Bushing', the last pic in my post. I was hoping to find the parts here in CAN before spending $25+USA for a $4 part. I went ahead and ordered that bushing, it only came to $21 USD (so far), CanCustoms ?? who knows, it may pas thru under the 'low cost' exception? I can maybe bubba the rest unless some orphan parts appear. I have posts on 4 forums, USA & CAN. so something might turn up.
