Newb 1911 22 question

I'm looking for a chrome 1911 22. Can someone recommend a source?

Probably a stupid question.... flame away, I can take it. The hazing has been mild so far. :^)

Most if not all 1911 22's are made from an aluminum alloy,at least the slide is. Don't think aluminum can be chrome plated (could be wrong but I have never seen it).

gsg makes one with a polished slide, probably be the closest you'll find.
you could buy one of those and polish the rest of the gun, would give you something close to what your looking for.

Kimber makes one with a stainless slide.

You can always Cerakote it too

Doesn't 'ruger' make a stainless steel version of their .22....I've polished both my gsg's,.. awesome look....
