Newb Bullet Casting Question

Goes through the side and hooks up to the outlet of the actual fan. Attached hose with a hose clamp.

That's interesting. I installed my fan at the other end of the hose. Do you think it matters? What manner of fan are you using?

Ok, this made a huge difference. Everything coming off the pot is now being sucked out of the house. Or so I think?

Had my drain spout clog up today? Lead was dribbling out in fits and starts. Wasn't getting anywhere until I located a paper clip and gave it couple pokes. How common is that?

I was getting a drippy tip...so I went out to the shop to cast!
I'm new to the game. I would get drips from my l'il Lee pot. Being patient and letting everything get warm helps, but I wasn't scraping the bottom n'sides of the pot very thoroughly when fluxing. Now I have a scraper, and am mightily impressed by what doesn't just float up without some help. My drips n' clogs reduced by 80pct.
I still keep the paperclip close by though.

Ok.... loosen and scrape the pot scrung up more thoroughly. That would make sense. I've also, let the pot level get quite low a couple times now. Betting that didn't help either.
